Today we're going to take a look at the K-Source Electric Heated Passenger Side Replacement Side Mirror with Memory. This is a custom fit mirror. It is designed to fit the 2006 to 2010 Infinity M35 and M45 vehicles, with the heated power mirror with memory. This side view mirror is a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your vehicle. It is modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. It does have the power remote capability to adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle.
It does use heated mirror glass, which will clear frost and ice and reduce fogging. This mirror also has the memory function, which when it's plugged in the car's computer will recognize the preset mirror position. The glass on this is an OE-grade, flat glass with first-surface plating to reflect clear images. The front of glass is plated with reflective chrome, and since this is the passenger side of the vehicle, it is a convex lens, which will provide a wide-angle view that reduces blind spots. It does use the breakaway design where the mirror will fold when struck to prevent breakage. It's a durable plastic housing with nice, shiny, black finish.
This cover can even be painted to match your vehicle if need be. It has an easy, no-drill installation. It has the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror. It even comes with 3 nuts when you help install it. The mirror does plug into the existing electrical wiring of your vehicle. A few specs on this.
Again, it's a quantity of 1 passenger side mirror. It does replace the original equipment part number 96301EH100. One last note on this mirror, is the power remote capability, the heated glass, and the memory function of this mirror will only work if your vehicle already has those functions. Worked the way I needed it to
Great review online; however, the '07 Acura passenger side mirror sold to me does not have the lighted and turn signal option on the mirror. The online review stated the mirror was for an '07 Acura. I don't think Acura made two options, one solid plain mirror (which I purchased) and one mirror with the lighted function. I hope I can return the mirror if I find a mirror with the lighted option. Other than that, great presentation online.
